Live Events Starting From the Beginning Instead of Live Playback

Some Samsung TV users may notice that when opening a live event that supports Live Rewind or DVR functionality, playback begins from the start of the stream rather than at the current live point of the event.

This behavior may make it appear as though the live event is delayed or not playing live.

How to Return to Live Playback

If your live event starts from the beginning of the stream:

1. Open the live event on your Samsung TV
2. Use your Samsung TV remote to bring up the on-screen playback controls
3. Navigate to and select the Live button
4. Selecting Live will jump playback to the current live point of the event

Important Note

If you exit the event and reopen it, playback may again start from the beginning of the stream. If this happens, simply use the Live button to return to the current live broadcast.
