Canceling and refunds when billed through Apple or Google

Last updated Jun 2026

If your subscription was purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those stores process the charges and handle refund decisions.

Canceling:

  • Apple: iPhone/iPad > Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > select Gotham Sports > Cancel.
  • Google: Play Store > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > select Gotham Sports > Cancel.
  • Web purchases: sign in on our site > Account > Subscription > Cancel.

Refunds:

  • Apple: request at reportaproblem.apple.com or via your Subscriptions screen. Apple evaluates refund eligibility and timelines.
  • Google Play: request at g.co/play/refund. Google evaluates refund eligibility.
  • Web purchases: contact our support team; we can assist based on our refund policy.

Charges after Canceling:

  • Platforms do not offer prorated refunds. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period and are charged for that full period. If you were charged after only one day of use, it is because the platform billed for the full term (monthly or annual). Refund requests must be submitted to the platform that billed you.

Updating Plan:

  • If you want to switch plan types (e.g., monthly to annual), cancel the current plan in the platform where it was purchased, let it expire, then re‑subscribe to the plan you want using the same account/email to avoid duplicates.
