Pausing your subscription is a simple process that can be completed in just a few steps. Follow the guide below to temporarily stop your subscription.

Why should I Pause instead of Cancel?
Pausing is often the easier option:
- Your subscription automatically resumes after the pause period
- No need to re-enter payment details or repurchase
- Take a break without losing your subscription setup!

Who can pause a subscription?

Your ability to pause a subscription depends on where you originally purchased it:
- Web purchases: You can pause your subscription directly through your account settings on a web browser.
- App Store or Google Play purchases: Pausing is not available through the website. You will need to manage your subscription (pause or cancel) through your device’s app store settings.

How do I pause my subscription?

For Web Users:
1. Log in to your account (via web browser) 
   Make sure you are signed in to your account on the GS website.

2. Go to Account Settings 
   Navigate to your account settings from the menu bar on the left side titled: Account

3. Select the menu option “Manage Subscription” 

4. Then select the "Pause Subscription" option

5. Review the prompt 
   A Timeout! page will appear prompting you to either keep your subscription or continue to pause. 
   Select Continue to Pause.

6. Choose your pause duration 
   You will see the following message: 
   “Choose how long you would like to pause your subscription for. Please select a duration from the options below. You may resume your subscription at any time.”
   Available options:
   - 1 month 
   - 2 months 
   - 3 months 

7. Confirm your pause 
   After selecting a duration, the Pause Subscription button will turn yellow. Click it to confirm.

8. Confirmation message 
   A message confirming your pause will appear stating:
   - You have paused your GS subscription for the selected duration 
   - The date your subscription will automatically renew 
   - That you may resume your subscription at any time 
   Select the yellow OK button to complete the process.

For App Store or Google Play Users:
If you purchased your subscription through a mobile platform, you cannot pause it on the website. Instead, manage your subscription through your device settings:
- Apple App Store: Go to your subscription settings on your iPhone or iPad 
- Google Play: Go to your subscriptions in the Google Play Store 

What happens after I pause my subscription?
- Your subscription will be paused for the duration you selected (1, 2, or 3 months).
- Billing will automatically resume once the pause period ends.
- You will see a Resume Now option in your Manage Subscription settings.

How do I resume my subscription?
1 Go back to Manage Subscription in your account settings.
2 You will now see a Resume Now option.
3 Select Resume Now.
4 Then another pop up page will appear confirming your choice. Again select: resume now
5 Confirm Payment and select OK
